The services below are an overview of the many services we offer.  A proposal of services would be drawn up specifically for each client and project, dependant upon their needs.  All services provided are strictly confidential. A detailed inspection of the drawings will be performed and we will generate a list of all materials required for the project with an estimated cost for labor.  Costs of the materials and the labor will be determined utilizing the most current available information.  The Material and Labor Breakdown will be presented in a spreadsheet format clearly describing each scope of work and the costs associated. An overall inspection can be performed on the drawings to determine if there are any areas of significant cost savings, that won’t undermine the design or intent of the project.  These cost savings ideas, if determined, would be presented with specific details on costs and time frame.   An overall inspection can be performed on the drawings and project specifications would be drawn up based upon the project's needs and intent.  These specifications would be broken down by scope divisions and cost codes. An overall inspection on the drawings and a site visit can be performed to determine if any areas designed would pose a potential issue during the actual construction of the project.  All potential construction issues would be outlined with potential solutions.   A realistic schedule, detailing each scope, with milestones and a critical path can be prepared.  This schedule will aid in maintaining full control over the progress of the work.  A list of long-lead materials and miscellaneous items that may influence the schedule would be determined and presented.   Upon receipt of contractor or vendor proposals from the owner, we can verify what items are included in the proposal with their associated costs.   We can review the vendors, subcontractors and/or general contractors that are selected to bid on the project.  We can organize and control the distribution of the project documents, answer estimating questions and obtain the proposals.  We can qualify the proposals and present our findings in a spreadsheet format allowing for easy bid comparisons.   We can provide periodic project analysis inclusive of on-site project meetings, site inspections, requisition reviews, assist with dispute resolutions and handle other construction matters that may arise on site.   During the course of construction, we can perform a review of any deviations from the drawings, unforeseen issues and any changes that may be requested, providing an analysis outlining solutions and costs.  If necessary, we can visit the site and meet with the responsible subcontractor and/or general contractor.   ESU offers "Project Leads", a weekly list of commercial and residential projects with current applications pending planning or zoning board approvals.  It covers the entire State of New Jersey and is distributed on a weekly basis.
